Dietz & Watson to Back Murphy in Truck Opener
The SS Green Light Racing No. 07 will have a fresh look when Sean Murphy takes the green flag at Daytona in the season opening Nextra Energy 250 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race. Dietz & Watson, home to the World’s Best Meat Delicacies and Artisan Cheeses, will adorn Murphy’s Chevy Silverado on Friday, February 12th.
The Pennsylvania-based purveyor of Premium Meat Delicacies and Artisan Cheeses has been producing the highest quality, freshest products for over sixty years. Dietz & Watson distributes it’s products to over forty states. The company has an outstanding reputation for superior tasting all-natural ingredients in all of it’s products. The company is bold in its slogan: “Expect the Best.”
The 24-year old driver from Fort Lauderdale, FL has 25 previous starts in the NCWTS, 24 of them have been with the SS Green Light Racing team including two previous runs at Daytona. Sean placed ninth while driving the No. 07 at Mansfield in 2008; his best NCWTS finish to date.
Murphy expects the best from his SS Green Light team at Daytona. “I’ve had a good relationship with Bobby (Dotter) for several years, what we’ve lacked is the proper support behind us to run more races and to keep us up front,” Murphy explained. “Dietz & Watson makes everything with the best ingredients; their products are hand crafted just like the truck we’ll be racing at Daytona. With their support I really do expect the best Friday night.”
Jason Miller will be atop the pit-box calling the shots for Murphy in season-opener at the world center of racing. “I really like Sean, I think he has some potential that has not yet been tapped. I feel my strength is to get that potential out of young drivers.”
Miller and the SS Green Light team has been busy building a new truck for this weekends race. “The guys in the shop have done a great job on this truck, I’m confident we’ve got a pretty strong piece for Sean,” explained Miller. “I’m also excited to have a company with the reputation for quality that Dietz & Watson join us for this high profile race. I think we’re going to turn some heads.”
Dietz & Watson was founded in 1939 by Gottlieb Dietz, a talented young German sausage maker. His primary goal was to produce the most flavorful, highest quality deli meats in the marketplace to please even the most discriminating palate. His old-world recipes and commitment to “quality above all” demanded nothing less than the freshest lean beef, ham, pork, turkey breast and chicken breast. He then added only the finest all-natural spices and seasonings gathered from around the world.
Today at Dietz & Watson, the third generation of the family continues Gottlieb Dietz’s dedication and commitment in preparing our Premium Deli Meats and Artisan Cheeses. In fact, all of our standards exceed those set by government guidelines. Our Master cheese makers create our hand-churned, small batch cheeses with the same commitment to “quality above all.” Always ask for Dietz & Watson… and expect the best!
