Jason White Sean Murphy - Excited about Bristol Race

SS-Green Light Racing Drivers Jason White (#08 GunBroker.com Dodge) and Sean Murphy (#07 ASI LIMITED Chevy) are looking forward to next Wednesday night. Typically Wednesday night for a race car driver is spent relaxing in preparation for the upcoming race weekend. But this Wednesday night there will be no relaxing on the couch. At 8:00pm on August 20th both drivers will be sitting in their NASCAR Craftsman Trucks ready to start 200 laps in the OReilly 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway, one of the most exciting race tracks on the NASCAR circuit.

Im looking forward to Bristol, said Jason White, driver of the #08 GunBroker.com Dodge. Its one of those tracks that I think every driver likes to drive, you just want to come out of there clean.

Weve been really fast in the last couple of races, added White. I think we can be fast at Bristol too, but most of all we need to finish the race and keep the truck in one piece and be there in the end.

Sean Murphy will be making his first-ever start at Bristol in the NASCAR Truck Series. Murphy has two races at the track in the ASA Late Model Series. In 2007 he nearly won the ASALMS event missing it by just one turn after his right front wheel broke. Just two weeks ago Murphy competed again at Bristol in the ASALMS starting 3rd and finishing 7th. But Murphy knows the truck series is another level of competition.

Its a very challenging track, but a lot of fun to drive as well. Im really looking forward to driving in the truck series at Bristol, said Murphy, who finished 9th in his last NASCAR Truck Series short track event at Mansfield Motorsports Park. I know the competition is tough at the truck level. Especially this race with guys like Jimmie Johnson entered. But Im confident we can do well. Mostly I want to have a solid finish and be on the lead lap at the end.
